Bariatric surgery is surgery designed to aid weight loss and improve mobility and quality of life .
As such it can be an extremely successful method of losing weight though is not to be entered into lightly. It should always only be contemplated after the extensive use of other methods of weight loss and will a full knowledge of the potential risks.
